The beach was lit up with tiki torches and the boats on the horizon were stunning. We took the ferry taxi over which was a nice little trip and enjoyed the scenery, took pics, had some pics taken of us and just soaked it all in. We arrived at the ferry to cross an hour earlier (a tip from the friend) so that we could enjoy a drink and the atmosphere before dinner! Great advice. Please hold out for the reservations you want. I talked to another friend from Key West who said they always do this to try to fill up the later reservations as everyone wants sunset. Suddenly they had a reservation at the time we originally requested. I declined and said we wouldn't accept the reservation. We called ahead to book our reservations we were told that the time we wanted (before 6pm) was booked. I will be posting this in as many places as I can and feel that what occurred was unjust and in extremely poor taste. Although the boat ride back to key West went without incidence, upon arrival in Key West, a staff ember from latitudes was sure to tell us that his 9 year old daughter has shorter hair than the long haired man in our party. Our waiter came over and apologized for the unprofessional conduct of this man and we assured him that he was amazing and totally professional. Upon hearing this, guests dismayed their fear of riding on the boat with us. Upon leaving that same man went to the boat captain that drove us there and asked if he had any issues with the man with the long hair. His training in people skills sure did lack professionalism. All this so called manager had to do was walk over nicely and calmly ask us to please keep it down and it would be appreciated. Mind you there was no one left in the restaurant except now one couple who looked at us in shock as this occurred. He walked over and in a condescending tone said " hey Ramones, do you want to keep it down, there are other people in the place and you are disturbing them." This of course ensued a huge argument which all could have been avoided. As we are finishing the same man approaches and claims now to be the "General manager" His name tag was John Petzet. Now remember we are 8 people at a long table and by no means are we quiet. Upon sitting at our table all was well and the restaurant was pretty much empty except for 2 tables. After a few moments were approached by a man who indicated he was security(later to be proved as a lie) and said our table would be ready shortly and we should quiet down.

Feeling slightly chilled we proceeded into the inside bar. Our reservation was for 8:15 Once arrived we went to the bar on the patio. We were a party of 8 and sat at a rectangle table. First let me begin by saying that the food was delicious and our server was great.
